Did you know that Boehm Family Chiropractic has served greater Manistee for over 80 years? The practice was started by Dr. Enoch Kruse in 1932 as E. T. Kruse Chiropractic. The practice became known as Boehm Chiropractic when Dr. Fritz Boehm purchased the practice in 1968.
Boehm Chiropractic moved to its current location in the historic Briny Building in 1998. After graduating from National University of Health Sciences in 2004, Dr. Heidi Boehm Ware joined the practice. Dr. Kimberly Anderson joined the practice in 2012 after working in Marysville, Michigan and then Traverse City, Michigan for 6 years combined. Dr. Heidi Ware and Dr. Kim Anderson carry on the tradition of excellence, having purchased the practice in 2012, that is now known as Boehm Family Chiropractic. Dr. Heidi and Dr. Kim are honored to be part of your healthy lifestyle!

Meet the Doctors
Heidi Boehm Ware, D.C.
Dr. Heidi Boehm Ware is a Manistee native who upon graduation from Manistee High attended University of Detroit Mercy. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine degree in April of 2000. While at UDM, Dr. Heidi was involved with Sigma Sigma Sigma where she was the Treasurer and Vice President. She did her athletic training internship at John Glenn High School in Westland and MedHealth in Plymouth. She was a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association from 2000-2008.
Dr. Heidi pursued chiropractic at National University of Health Sciences where she received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Human Biology in 2002 and her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in December 2004. While
in chiropractic school she was involved in Lambda Chi professional adjusting sorority, co-founder of the Michigan Club, in Student American Chiropractic Association and went to Washington D.C. to lobby for the National Chiropractic Legislative Committee. Dr. Heidi joined the practice in January 2005 and in May 2012 became the co-owner of Boehm Family Chiropractic with Dr. Anderson. Dr. Heidi is a member of the Michigan Association of Chiropractors (MAC).

Kimberly S. Anderson, D.C.

Dr. Kimberly Anderson graduated cum laude from the National University of Health Sciences in December of 2005. While attending NUHS, Dr. Anderson had the privilege of serving as Student Council President and President of the Michigan Club, as well as being an active member of the Lambda Chi professional adjusting sorority, the Motion Palpation Club and the Student American Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Kim is excited to have joined Boehm Family Chiropractic in 2012 with Dr. Heidi Boehm Ware serving the health care needs of the greater Manistee area. Previously Dr. Kim worked at chiropractic practices in Marysville, Michigan and Traverse City, Michigan. Dr. Kim is a member of the Michigan Association of Chiropractors (MAC) and the American Chiropractic Association (ACA).
Fritz Boehm, D.C.
Dr. Boehm is officially retired from practice September 26, 2016. Congratulations to Dr. Boehm!
Dr. Fritz Boehm bought the practice from Dr. Enoch Kruse upon graduating from the National College of Chiropractic (currently National University of Health Sciences) in 1968. He has been proud to care for multiple generations of families in the greater Manistee area in his 48 years in practice.
